As we reach a year since the first rumblings of COVID-19, we are more than a little chuffed to see the release of the book written by our Managing Director, Carolyn Evans. Published by Brill | Nijhoff, based in the Netherlands, the book becomes Volume 61 in their series ‘Legal Aspects of International Organizations<\/a>‘.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The essential subject matter of the book – governance and accountability – sits at the intersection of Carolyn’s professional experience over more than three decades, and her international law studies since 2009. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Based on Carolyn’s doctoral thesis, the book addresses the why, to whom, for what, and how, of Council accountability – four corners of concerns central to seeing any<\/em> actor held accountable. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
