Email<\/strong> carolyn[at]thinkevans.com.au<\/p>\n\n\n\n Mobile<\/strong> 0418 210 937<\/p>\n\n\n\n International<\/strong> +61 418 210 937 Carolyn has an eclectic combination of experience in both the public and private sectors, for profit and not-for-profit organisations of diverse sizes, privately-held and publicly-traded corporations and in the academic environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n She has operational and general management experience, and exposure to both sides of the Board table \u2013 as a manager and as a director \u2013 in her full time roles as well as in her additional pursuits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In March 2019, Carolyn was awarded a PhD from UNSW, based on her thesis entitled Towards a more accountable United Nations Security Council – why, to whom, for what, and how<\/em>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Her research originated in her long-standing focus on governance questions, and was undertaken at the Faculty of Law, University of New South Wales (Sydney), with\u00a0a full scholarship from the Australian Government Research Training Program (formerly the Australian Postgraduate Awards), and a further scholarship from the UNSW Law. \u00a0Both were continued for the maximum period of 3.5 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Carolyn’s book based on her doctoral thesis was published in February 2021 by Brill | Nijhoff.
