Sharna Wiblen - Consultant

Sharna joined ThinkEvans in 2006, after graduating from the University of Sydney with a double degree in commerce and arts. Sharna was awarded first class honours (in commerce) for her thesis about women in senior management in Australia.
With over 10 years front line experience in retail logistics, Sharna has a variety of skills and knowledge concerning the operations and management of large organisations as well as a solid understanding of the structure of the service industry. Sharna has also worked in human resources, specifically in the areas of recruitment and selection.
Sharna brings to ThinkEvans’ clients her strong research skills and her passion for human resources, along with her shop floor experience of the very practical complexities currently facing the service industry.
After continuing her involvement in the academic sphere and the University of Sydney by teaching undergraduate students in the areas of management, organisational behaviour and business ethics, in 2008 Charna joined an ARC sponsored research team which is investigating the impact of Human Research Information Systems on the Human Resource function.
In 2009, Sharna is commencing her own research for the award of a PhD, and has been awarded a scholarship from the Australian Postgraduate Awards to pursue this work. Stay tuned for more details!
