Every team needs a resident creative type and Ros is ours - which is a bit like saying every firm needs a lunatic fringe and Roslyn is the one for ThinkEvans!
Ros has a Bachelor of Visual Arts from the City Art Institute (now part of the University of New South Wales), which she completed around the time of the last ice age.
In December 2008, she was awarded her Master's degree in creative writing.
In between, she has not been idle. Her portfolio is lush with both visual expressions of art (go visit the Discovery Zone at the Australian War Memorial for a serious thrill ride) and the kind that are mightier than the sword (words and deeds on everything from history, government and cultural topics, educational and tourism material to the stuff that gave her accreditation with the Storytellers Guild).
Fortunately Ros does not expect us to follow her dress code, especially on the days where she is 'in character' for some extravaganza (don't ask about the Puck look here, where she was being a good fairy!).
But to be fair, on lots of days you couldn't tell the difference between her and the next staggeringly good editor/sub-editor/copywriter that you might meet.
