Measuring Military Justice

a project for the Australian Defence Force

Since 2003, ThinkEvans has been undertaking research and development projects for the Inspector General of the Australian Defence Force (IGADF).

One early result was the development of a prototype system for measuring the health and effectiveness of the military justice system, intended to assist IGADF in reporting to the Chief of the Defence Force on such matters.

Deeper research has been undertaken since then to design a system of bespoke key result areas, key performance indicators and key performance measures regarding military justice, for a revised system that was launched in June 2008.

Provide feedback on military justice

The latest additions to this work are the means by which individual members of the Australian Defence Force and members of the Australian Public Service employed in Defence can provide feedback on their views of the military justice system.

Military Justice System feedback entry pointThe military justice system covers disciplinary processes such as military trials and military infringement notices, as well as broader justice processes such as making a complaint or submitting a grievance in the Australian Defence Force.

From 1 October 2009:   If you have been involved with a military justice process, you now have the opportunity to provide feedback  here.
