Carolyn brings an eclectic combination of experience in both the public and private sectors, for profit & not-for-profit organisations of diverse sizes, privately-held & publicly-traded corporations, as well as in the academic environment.
Not one to leave a stone unturned in finding the real cause of problems, Carolyn contributes to the team the results of a life time of effort put into being the "why? child" - which gives a lot of dividends in actually solving problems as well as winning at trivia games!
Her tertiary qualifications in business have a strong quantitative element, and recent work has involved imaginative uses of qualitative information to match off against the more definitive quantitative data. The measurement of military justice outcomes in the Australia Defence Force is a classic example.
She jumps out of bed every morning for the sheer fun and enjoyment of defining problems in complex situations, making unvarnished strategic appraisals of organisational aspirations and capabilities, and marshalling typically scarce resources to achieve important outcomes.
Professionally, Carolyn is a member of the Australian Business Foundation and a keen advocate of their work. And in her "spare" time, she has a serious commitment to community service through her long standing membership of Zonta International.
